In a Paris suburb, Moussa Jebli, a successful cannabis trafficker, sees his shipment seized by the drug enforcement authorities. His whole family is swept up in his downfall, including his younger brother, Driss, a brilliant student who has always kept his distance from the family business. Opposite them, William, a newly transferred young cop, discovers the rules of the police game.

After the tragedy at the ambassador's reception, Racheton and William must return to France. Defying his superiors, William stays in Morocco to continue tracking down the Jebli family.
